E.ON Off Grid Solutions GmbH (EOGS) in Düsseldorf is looking for an

Intern (m/f) - Asset Operation / Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Asset Operation Engineer to improve remote monitoring, troubleshooting and reporting capabilities for a successful operation of our Solar Mini-Grids. You will collaborate also with other business units such as Data & Communications, Business Development and our local Team in Tanzania.

More specifically your tasks will comprise of

  • Support in day-to-day operations to increase troubleshooting performance and quality
  • Further development our monitoring platform implemented using Grafana
  • Handling and evaluation of asset performance data
  • Determining technical key performance indicators that help also other Rafiki Power business units

Qualifications

  • Studying towards a Bachelors (final year) or Masters’ Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Renewable Energies, Mechanical) or similar fields of study 
  • First work experience during internships
  • Passion for renewable energies and international development
  • Preferably knowledge on PV and/or battery systems
  • Comfortable in analysing data
  • SQL, Grafana or other computer science skills are a plus
  • Comfortable working in English
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary, international teams in multiple locations

Note: The contract will be with E.ON Off Grid Solutions GmbH.
