YOUR TASKS

During your Internship Database Systems & Analyst (m/w) your main activities will be:

  • Build and configure a Database Management System.
  • Define data models to capture business information.
  • Develop import routines for external data.
  • Set-up quality check algorithms to ensure quality of stored data.
  • Reply to internal and external data analytics requests, either by creating standard reports or ad-hoc analysis.
  • Provide business intelligence support for the commercial and financial steering of the domains as well as support the definition of the strategy and run the operations

YOUR PROFILE

You pursue your studies in Bachelor of Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information System or a comparable major. Finished basic studies (semester 4+) and ideally with a Bachelor’s degree. Furthermore essential prerequisites are:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Access and all Office applications.
  • Familiarity with IT development, concepts and solutions (MySQL, Visual Basic, Mobile Apps).
  • Excellent analytical skills, result oriented, methodical and systematic work approach.
  • Customer oriented driven attitude combined with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in an international and cross cultural environment is favorable.
  • Excellent in verbal and written English. A good knowledge of German is an advantage. French language skills are a plus.
  • Previous internship or apprenticeship is an advantage
