Customer Equipment bears worldwide commercial responsibility for the categories Mobile Handsets & Tablets, Data Card & Mobile Broadband, Connected Devices and Wearables/Accessories for the benefit and on behalf of DT and Orange footprint. Therefore we negotiate quarterly our Mobile handsets portfolio, ensure competitive international price, Marketing funds, commercial campaigns as well as we build up a supplier procurement strategy and implement negotiation tactics with NatCos & Corporate function,  Marketing, Supply Chain, Controlling, Sales and distribution.

YOUR TASKS

As an intern in Customer Equipment team your main activities are as follows:

  • Consolidate the relevant data, such as Forecast Figures, Actuals, coming from the subsidiaries (Excel)
  • Support senior colleagues in ensuring the negotiation preparation for all categories in Customer Equipment, such as Smartphones, Feature Phones and Mobile Broadband Products
  • Provide business intelligence support for the commerciall and financial steering of the Customer Equipment domain as well as support the definition of the strategy and run the operations
  • Prepare regular management reporting based on procurement relevant developments, trends and steering KPIs (Excel, Access and Power Point)

YOUR PROFILE

You finished your basic studies (semester 4+) or ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree. Furthermore you are excellent in verbal and written English. Fluent in French or German would be an advantage:

  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and ideally MS Access
  • Experience in an international and cross cultural environment is favorable
  • Previous internship or apprenticeship is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Result oriented, methodical and systematic work style
  • Quick adaptation to new and challenging tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive behaviour and highly motivated
  • High level of team spirit
  • Able to work independently
  • Very good customer service behavior
